Many years ago I was having dinner at the Palace Diner in Flushing, Queens when this guy that looked just like Wallace from "Wallace and Gromit" walks in! Now, in all fairness, the guy was blind and he seemed to be the leader because he was leading a chain of other blind adults right smack into the booth next to my wife and I. What was so strange is that this guy's head seem to conform to EXACTLY the shape of the animated character of Wallace!
"Incredible", I said to my wife, "Look at that guy's head!" She told me to behave and be polite. Now, when this guy spoke his voice sounded like a freakin' loudspeaker!! And God help me... he also sounded a bit like Wallace! As my wife can tell you, I couldn't stop laughing and every time I tried to look away, that voice was booming!! When again I tried desperately to control myself I would see out of the corner of my eye this guy that seemed in every way, shape and form to be Wallace. So here is this guy, buttering a muffin just like Wallace, and myself, about to be thrown out of the place. Well, I finally calmed down enough to pay my bill and leave, but I'll never forget the day I met the REAL WALLACE.
